Season 9 was the last all girls season of HNTM. It was a breath of fresh air after the disappointing season 7 and the horrible season 8. The overall quality of the shoots were great and had a current fashion vibe. Yes, they had some disappointing shoots in the middle of the competition but the quality was a still good and the shoots that did work this season were immeadiately some of the best ones ever. Also the cast was an extremely good one with different types of model worthy girls and the top 6 was almost, if not, perfect.
They also had some cool challenges like castings for Vogue, Paris fashion week, a cover shoot for Grazia or a sexy runway at the biggest stairs of the country. So they succeed you'd think. Not really. It was mostly ruined due to some new horrible aspects added on the show. The top 6 was all public voting, so we ended up with a random winner who was gorgeous but not winner material at all. 3/9 Episodes were live episodes that were super cringy and boring, they were being judged on social media the whole season long (which was very forced and should have been limited in being 1 or 2 challenges) and there was a comeback chick which was unnecessary since all the girls in the top 5 were already the deserved final 5. So there were some aspects that were really good about this season, but unfortunately, they messed it up at the end.
THE VERDICT:
The season that was so close to be a kick-ass one, but messed it up towards the end.
