Season 2 was a great season. I always love how oldscool yet fashionable this cycle was. I always thought the cast was a little average/commercial and not so versatile, but I learned to appreaciate it a lot more in the last few years. I love how beautiful and natural everybody looks. They had lots of classic beauties, what you don't see that often in recent seasons anymore.
So even when the cast was more commercial than edgy, and even when the shoots weren't all that inspiring (most turned out to be solid but not that interesting) I thought it was a good season. It is mostly because it was so watchable. I really enjoyed watching every single episode. There was something real and not overly forced about this season. The characters this season were really different and interesting. They just let the personalities spoke for itselves and they all made this season really likeable, entertaining and fun to watch. Even the judges were likable, giving interesting constructive criticism the whole season long. I also like how involved they were with the models at shoots and the challenges (which were also great since they had all kind of different challenges you wish for in a modeling show). The elimination order was reasonable in it's bigger lines which gave more credibility for the show.
SUMMARY:
A pure and likable season.
