As a fashion competition, HNTM 3 sucked. If I should describe this season in one word I'd say cheap. To start with the cast: there were only 4(!) girls who looked like a model and for the rest we had a few questionable fillers and some really bad ones. Based on modeling potential this cast is HNTM's weakest one. Enough is said when you can barely find decent photo´s of the models on Google.
HNTM always has been lacking budget but this time they didn't even try to hide. Even though some shoot concepts could have worked out, most of them turned out to be tacky. Also the judgings were totally useless and they didn't seem to know what to talk about, rather making fun of them instead of giving some decent constructive feedback. It resulted in a final 3 with 2 bad models over the major potential Monique, fabulous Lilly and stunning Sophie, whose elimination was so cruel and totally wrong because she didn't want to go nude. I don't think this is the "worst season ever" though because this season had some aspects I liked. They might have done pretty bad at casting models but at casting personalities they were so right. They had lots of different entertaining girls which is why watching this season was great. Lots of bitchfights, fun challenges and iconic moments. And with some robbed girls they still got the winner 100% right who is still one of the best winners ever in HNTM.
SUMMARY:
Cheap season with a jank cast but at least a flawless winner and drama.
