Season 4 was a good season and somehow still iconic. The cast was a major improvement after season 3. We got some really promising faces and the fillers were also more interesting than last season. I always love how the theme of this cast was glamourous, and this cast totally fits the old school glamourous vibe.
I do think it was quite obvious that it was season 3´s follow-up. They definitely took over some of the tackyness. Even when the theme was luxury and glamourous, I always thought some shoots were tacky looking. Yes, it was definitely better than season 3 and it definitely gave us a few iconic shots, but it was obvious the budget was majorly lacking which made everything a little cringy to watch when you know they really thought they were radiating luxury as general vibe this season. A lot of girls also got cheapened by their make-overs, probably in the top 3 seasons of worst MO's HNTM has done. Though it was still a major improvement as modeling competition after season 3. They had some really decent sponsors and everything seemed more realistic. They also did insanely well in delivering something entertaining again. Every episode was filled with bitchfights, fun challenges (a lot were useless though, but fun) and moments to get to know the girls better. The new generation of HNTM could really learn from the earlier seasons (2-5) delivering a fun show. Also the elimination order was great. There were some robbed girls, but the top 5 was mostly deserved and even though we all know who should have won, Ananda was still a great choice.
THE VERDICT:
A season with a 1000 euro budget, but they delivered amazing tv and a decent modeling competition.
