Now this was the point where it became clear this season won't have any chance to get saved. This shoot is scary. They were all supposed to portray an emotion, but instead of doing that with pure emotions showing in poses and subtile expressions, they had to do ugly screamings and things like that. It delivered 2 of the most awful pictures in HNTM history. Terrible shoot, terrible elimination.
The given emotions were:
Celine - Sad
Jackie - Raw
Laurie - Seductive
Lisa - Happy (they changed it in sad because she was really sad)
Loiza - Frustrated
Rachel - Happy
Sterre - Confident
1. Sterre - Despite this horrible shoot, she still manages delivering a fantastic shot. I wish every shot in this shoot was more like this. Simple, with pure emotion yet a beautiful vibe about it. Love this.
2. Lisa - Okay, a crying Lisa is maybe not the most pretty shot, but at least I'm really feeling it which does make this shot a beautiful one. It does fit the whole vibe of the shoot of (trying to deliver) pure and iconic emotions. It looks very pure.
3. Jackie (eliminated) - From this shot on it goes downwards very quickly. I like her face, but it looks more like a looking into the sun in not a very flattering way, instead of raw. It's still one of the better shots so I won't buy the judges their comments about her leaning too much on her prettiness while she is the only one with Sterre who is consistently delivering. Stupid choice eliminating one of the strongest faces.
4. Laurie - I gotta admit that she did well because at least she's trying and she played her role quite well, but I'm not feeling it again. Not loving it, not hating it, and I kind of had enough from it. I think she should have been sent home because she has been nothing but average for weeks now.
5. Rachel - This shot is bad, and it's not only her fault. I mean she doesn't look super 'happy' like her challenge was, but the photography mostly makes this picture bad. I get that the theme is a bit oldschool, but you should at least properly focus into her face.
6. Celine - This is just terrible. Yes she does look sad and she is a beautiful girl with a hot body, but this is just a super unflattering shot of her that should be burned.
7. Loiza - This is horrible. I don't get how this is a fashionable shot? I don't get what the judges think this shots can be used for? I feel like she got way too much praise for this and should have been criticised for being too over the top. It looks uncomfortable, and I get that the emotions can be uncomfortable, but that doesn't seem something you should use in the modeling world.
