This could have been something fantastic, but turned out as a strange shoot. There were some nice aspects: stylish tribal looking girls in a zoo with great photography. I just don't get the whole concept. The whole "bring the beast out of you" by racing against a random car in the middle of nature is so random. Posing with animals (why exactly did they go to the zoo for that??) or action shots without that racing stuff would have been so much better. It's still not as bad as some shoots from last 2 seasons, but I think if they kept it more simple it would have had potential to be on the caliber of other incredible shoots they did this season.
1. Denise - This is a very cool shot. Her face is looking incredible. Totally fits with the whole running style but still looking like a model. Her body looks strong as well and at the same time I like what she's doing with her fingers to make it a little more feminine/elegant. Powerwoman.
2. Anne Wytske - I don't think her face looks as fantastic as Denise's, but finally she's giving some power. Her left arms look a little out of proportion but I love how strong and beastly she's looking here.
3. Akke Marije - I don't think she is looking beastly or super strong but I do think she looks good in this photo. Her face looks gorgeous and much more interesting than most of her previous pictures and she looks slim and tall. It's just that the body needed some power.
4. Arantxa (eliminated) - Except that it's a shame we can't see her other leg, her body language is good and she is totally getting the challenge of this shoot. I don't think her face looks modelesque here but she is at least giving energy and life to this photo. Except for last week, Arantxa has done pretty alright during the shoots. On the show it was pretty clear she was not really a high fashion model though and I don't think she would have delivered many more than we've already seen of her so I would have eliminated her at this point as well.
5. Sarah (elimination) - This picture is such a non factor. Nothing special about it, kinda boring but at least it's not horrible. Sarah delivered all she could during HNTM but kind of faded away when the competition continued. As a model she is beautiful and good for commercial stuff, but unfortunately not capable of delivering/improving much more than she already did on the show. I think 8th/7th is perfect for her.
6. Colette - Her face looks nice but it is missing some strength. Skin looks gorgeous and I like how she's working the clothes, but the whole body language feels a little cramped.
7. Noor - This is bad. I think her face looks beautiful but the body is not what this challenge is about it all and makes the whole picture very weird. It doesn't look like she's a beast who is going to race against a car, but more like somebody who wants to sneak in somebodys house. It's lacking energy.
8. Emma - This is bad while she could have killed it. Her face looks super uncomfortable. She is so tall, but not using her length at all. Her body looks cramped. Missed opportunity for her.
