The promo shoot of this season was good! I always love a simplicity at the kick off. I like how they were all styled the same and how their personality comes through by their expressions and poses cause of that. Beautiful shots.
1. Lianne - I didn't really notice her that much during last shoot, but these shots show what a knockout face she has. Her cheeckbones and big blue eyes are fantastic, and I love that bitchy look of hers. She only needs to watch out that she can come over as a bit matured sometimes.
2. Roxanne - Again impressed by her. She looks alienesque, strong and beautiful at the same time, and I feel like she can't take a bad shot with that face. I like how she seems to be versatile too. This is a totally different look after last shoot, but she still owns it. If she only learns how to relax her mouth a bit more I could see her dominating this season.
3. Bianca - She has a very specific editorial face, and I like how she's giving 3 total different looks here. These are great shots, but I gotta admit that she doesn't look that fresh. I'm not completely sold yet, but definitely interested in seeing more of this ghostly look.
4. Rosalinde - She has such a romantic and dreamy looking face. Like I could look at these shots day. So lovely looking and I feel like she would be great for any kind of beauty shoot. Curious if she could be editorial
5. Denise - Stunning shots of her again. Her face is so lovely. Her big brown eyes, beautiful light brown skin and full lips are gorgeous. That close-up shot shows promise, but I feel like she needs a make-over because this looks way too commercial on her.
6. Catharina - She needs some development. Her face looks very interesting and the pose of the second shot is something different, but overall she doesn't stand out the most in these shots. As the blank canvas of the group, I feel like simple shoots work in her disadvantage.
7. Adinda - I have mixed feelings with this beautiful girl. She has modelesque, fresh features, but at the same time I feel like she is more of an actress. The body shots are nice, but I'm not a fan of her pout in the close-up. Also she lacks some energy in the eyes.
8. Justine - Being the youngest (16 years old) yet delivering the most convincing and edgy poses is fantastic. She does need to learn how to use her face though. It's unusual and needs some coaching. Just like Catharina, I think she would benefit more from the edgy shoots.
9. Maxime - She is a fresh and stunning girl and it's obvious that she has modeling potential, but there's no energy or versatility in the face. All three shots from the same angle and it looks lifeless.
10. Sarah - Also Sarah didn't do too bad, it's just that the other girls overshadow her. She looks pretty and sweet here. The red hair actually looks good here and is a nice contrast with her soft blue eyes. I'm just not convinced by her look yet, to me she looks more like an artist.
11. Tessa - I don't see much versatility at Tessa's shots but these are lovely, especially the close-up shot. She looks a bit like Rosalinde's little sister there. Just like Sarah I don't get what's modelesque about her, but these are nice.
12. Melanie - Melanie was brought into the competition later than the other girls, like a wildcard. In my opinion she doesn't add that much to this cast. Her face has a very unique shape, but for the rest she looks a little predestrian and not that fresh. I only like the close-up shot.
13. Alexandra (eliminated) - She is a pretty women, but she looks too plain in these shots and doesn't stand out at all. In comparison with the other girls she looks a little matured as well. I like her look, but she was just doomed to be the first eliminee and I'm not complaining.
