One of the 3 shoots they did in episode 1 was the London Eye shoot. This shoot was determinative for the first elimination (Leontine). As a whole, I liked this shoot. The results are decent and I like the idea of the set and the styling. I think it could have been executed a bit better, but it's still a nice shoot. Let's go!:
1. Gesanne - she really surprised me with this shot of her. She looks absolutely stunning here and I wish all the girls got a close-up like hers. She doesn't scream but this shot proves she can still be stunning from some angles. I feel like she couldn't have done any better than this face wise. Also her teeth, which mostly bothered me, are working in this shot.
2. Nancy - I love this shot! Nancy is looking really vibrant and sophisticated here. Her face looks like a doll. The pose also works in combination with her innocent expression.
3. Mandy - this shot is so underrated. Even though she is a little bland, she looks so vibrant here. Just like Nancy her eyes are shining and her innocent face matches the pose. With some more confident in her body it would have been prefect.
4. Mieke - she is kind of doing the same as she did in her hangar shot, but it's working more now. She looks tall, confident, strong and her face is absolutely beautiful.
5. Riquelle - her face looks stunning here. Youthful and gorgeous. Her face looks a little asymmetrical here, but it's fine. I don't really like the "chest out" pose. I think with that innocent face she should have done something more like Nancy/Mandy.
6. Tamara - However I'm a big fan of Tamara, I don't think this shot is really doing her justice. She looks good and it's still one of the better ones, but the styling and make-up make her look a little drag-ish. Not really her fault but it's not working.
7. Tirza - again, what a hot body! Body-wise she's working it. Standing confident, looking tall. Her face kind of drags this shot down. Something about her expression isn't convincing and she looks a little shocked or something.
8. Roxanne - not a bad shot, but it's also not outstanding. I like how tall she looks here and her face is beautiful, but she could have added some more life into the picture instead of just leaning back.
9. Jildis - this is an alright picture of Jildis. Her face doesn't look that tensed or old and her body looks cool, but awkward as well. Something about her position mixed with her turning her head looks really out of proportion.
10. Michelle - Michelle is again really disappointing. She is just standing there and her face isn't really striking, while most of the time she was such a beast on pictures. The lightning Is not working either.
11. Jellena - not an awful shot, but this expression looks like she is smelling boo-boo. There's just no energy in this shot.
12. Leontine (elimination) - I like about this shot that she got a photo with the Big Ben. Her pose is not bad, but it looks like she is missing one arm. Also her face is looking kinda bland. Overall not the worst shot, but I think her elimination was fair. It was either her or Sonja.
13. Sonja - just like Leontine: not the absolute worst but it's quite a boring and bland shot. Also, wtf was she thinking at that pose? It looks like as if she's going to dive.
14. Elise - Lol! This looks so amateurish because of her expression. Her face is really "dafuq u sayin'?" while she could have easily gotten one of the best photo's if she just relaxed her mouth and eyes a little more.
15. Claudia - I'm sorry Claudia, you are gorgeous but this is just a horrible shot. She looks really old and crusty here. She should have gone for a softer expression in this shoot. Also the way they styled her hair isn't fitting her face.
