Love this shoot so much. I don't know if it really fits a haircampaign, but I think it's still the best shoot of this season yet. The photography is great, and so is the setting and the styling. Also the models really make it look like an international campaign, literally no one has a bad shot.
1. Nick - This is one amazing picture. He really looks like he is posing in a blue chip campaign. He looks so nonchalant and cool. Plus the rougher expression looks absolutely stunning on him.
2. Silke - Same as for Nick: this could be a campaign for a major brand. Love the red lipstick at her pale skin, bleached brows and blue eyes. Face is absolutely gorgeous and she looks fresher than ever before.
3. Marcus - His expression is a little dead and I don't think his striking bonestructure shows in the picture, but his face still works for me. He looks very nonchalant and smooth. I like the natural vibe.
4. Lenny - Stunning! Red lipstick fits her so well. I also like how she's playing with her angles, she really is trying to sell the hair products by giving a half profile. If she had a bit more confidence in her eyes it would have been perfect.
5. Bibi - I agree with the judges that she needs to work to add more dynamic in her pictures cause the pose is quite boring. But damn @that close up! I could see it for a serious haircampaign. If it was only about the close-ups she would have been top 3 for sure.
6. Sam (quitted) - I like his close-up. His bonestructure looks cool, and he looks way more relaxed than last shoots. The placement of the hands drag it down a bit though. It's a decent shot, but I'm not that sad about him quitting. He is one of the weaker ones left, even if he stepped up his game after last week.
7. Jawahir (eliminated) - I get the critiques of the judges. She didn't follow the directions of the client at all. She looked so extremely stunning during this shoot though, and it does show on the picture. Her jawline, full lips and pinches eyes look so good. I agree that she could have done miles better, but it sucks to see her being eliminated. It was definitely not her time yet since she has done well throughout the competition so far.
8. Benjamin - He looks pretty and I like how relaxed his body language is. His blue eyes are striking, but for some reason his face doesn't really work. His skin looks blemiched and the expression isn't very convincing.
9. Jay - He does look modelesque, but I just think this is a tad boring. The pose is boring and mixed with his expression makes it very low energy. Missed chance for him.
10. Maha - These are not bad, just the weakest of the bunch. Her face looks soft and beautiful, but there's just a bit of an insecurity and uncomfort in it. She needs to stop making excuses because of her headscarf. In my opinion the shoots are way easier for her like this since she doesn't have to take showing her hair into account, the point Jawahir was eliminated for. She should have been eliminated imo.
