This is a great editorial. I love the picturesque vibe about it, especially at the group of Marcus-Nick-Bibi. I wish that at the group of Silke-Lenny-Jay-Benjamin it was more about posing and less about walking, because the walking movement doesn't fit as much as the other background. Though it definitely beats the ELLE editorial of season 11, but it isn't as spectacular as the season 10 one.
1. Lenny - Fantastic shot and deserved FCO for sure. It looks very spontaneous and edgy. She is posing in the background but still overshadowing every other model in this shot. Also love how her and Silke seem to work together in this shot.
2. Bibi - It is still the same innocent pretty expression she has been giving for weeks, but she has the luck that she fits the style of this shoot so well. Even though I'm not a fan of her MO, it looks fantastic here. I love the freckles, the youthful-fresh vibe she's giving in her face and she makes the clothes look stunning.
3. Silke - Also a stunning shot of her. I love how the sun lights her hair up and she makes the dress work. She looks a little like a mad doll, but it works. Especially when I zoom into her face I can't stop looking at it.
4. Jay - The boys were obviously the weakest this week, but out of them Jay definitely did the best. He looks like an actor superstar here, maybe not necessarily modelesque in this shot, but it's again a good one. His face looks strong and I love the energy in his eyes.
5. Marcus - He doesn't stand out the most with his shot, but I don't get why he is bottom 2. It's not bad at all. His body language is great. His face might be a bit sleepy, but I think that's also his signature look and it's what makes him edgy.
6. Benjamin - It's actually one of the better shots he has delivered. I'm happy he looks more releaxed instead of being a deer in the headlights. It's a nice commercial shot, but the other models are still overshadowing him with their shots and edgy looks. He is definitely the weaker link at this point.
7. Nick - It's definitely the weakest shot. The body looks okay, but I don't think his face looks interesting enough. He looks better at Bibi's and Marcus' shots though, so sabotaged? I don't know. I have mixed feelings about his elimination. I don't think it came totally out of blue like most people think, since he became a bit too chilled and lazy about everything so with having the weakest shot I get his bottom appearance. But with having one of the best faces and all the great shots he has delivered in the past like his promo, swimwear and haircare shoot it was not his time to go at all. The judges said his elimination had something to do with never getting best photo, but Benjamin also never did and he has a worse overall performance so he definitely should have gone before Nick.
