I loved this shoot. This is one of the best HNTM has ever delivered. It's simple, original but still managed to give a lot of emotion and great shots. The lightning, styling and setting is perfect and everything comes together perfectly. Normally I don't evaluate the episode itself, but mixed with this authentic shoot I think it was one of my favorite ever. Jildis argumenting with host Daphne about leaving the show was hella funny. JE KAN VERTREKKEN, TOT ZIENS.
1. Mieke - THIS is what an old painting shot needs to look like! Her neck looks elegant, her hands looks sensitive, her expression and face look phenomenal. It has confidence but still feels like she's a women in the Golden Age. Flawless shot of Mieke, one of the best this season.
2. Michelle - Also did a bloody good job. I love how shy and sensitive her expression and body language look and it really fits the vibe of the women in that century. Her face looks mesmerizing.
3. Nancy - She delivered. I love how much expression this picture has. It's has a melancholic/sad vibe around it and it really works together with the body language.
4. Mandy - I love how innocent and shy she looks here. There's a lot expression behind it. Her glowing eyes with her pale skin really catch me. I think a little more confidence in the body would have made it perfect.
5. Tamara - face is stunning and lightning looks great. She did a great job again, but I think the others had more expression in their pictures while hers is more flat in comparison.
6. Claudia - I think this is the first time Claudia delivered a convincing shot. Her eyes are expressive here and she fits the setting she got to pose in. When she opened her mouth a little bit it would have been perfect.
7. Elise - she is looking stunning again, and that's what saves the picture. Eyes look great but I don't think the rest of it is as convincing as the others. She could have done so much better.
8. Roxanne - she is missing the 'oomph' again. Her face looks lovely and it's somehow a melancholic shot but she is lacking expression and body language.
9. Tirza (eliminated) - I don't think this is a bad shot, but it's a flat one. I don't see much expression and I think her body language doesn't really fit the challenge of an olden painting. I think she got a good look and I really liked her personality, but I am not that furious about her leaving. She has never delivered a very convincing shot in the competition. I do think she deserved to stay over Claudia and maybe Roxanne based on overall performance, but Claudia got a better shot this week and Roxanne has a better look, so it's okay.
10. Riquelle - just like her windmill shot, this photo screams awkward. It's so uncomfortable to watch, while she could have easily delivered with that face. Her face looks like she's ill and the body position is bad.
11. Jildis (quitted) - thank god she quitted. She was by far the weakest one left. I really don't get why they actually wanted her to stay another week if she didn't quit. The face doesn't look convincing at all and it's just a little off. She doesn't look like a model here.
